Hi. My name is Christian Mortensen.
I am a creative being. In fact, I believe that we are all creative beings. We create with our thoughts, our actions, our conversations, and our interactions with the world around us.
Have you found your creative voice yet? That thing that tells you what you are meant to do on this planet? For you it might be art. It might be writing. It might be coding, cooking, building businesses, building portfolios, dancing, teaching fitness classes, leading teams at work, painting, stand up comedy, acting… you get the picture.
We all have that voice, but for so many reasons we can end up ignoring it, stifling it, and doing everything we can to avoid it until it fades to a whisper. I want you to feel empowered, I want that voice to yell and scream to the world, “I AM HERE AND I HAVE SOMETHING AWESOME TO SAY!”
A love letter to the first decade of my career where I worked in video production (I am putting this here partially for a little street cred, and partially because watching it makes me happy). While the identity of “guy who shoots and edits videos” never quite fit, the adventures I had during this time were awesome, and the people I met along the way opened up many new ways of thinking and taught me many lessons.
